    Learning and support passarelle for apprentices KV-Immobilien

    Since then, a diverse range of support services has been established, which is constantly being developed and adapted to current requirements – most recently also to the new CT education reform, which has been in force since the 2023/2024 apprenticeship year. At the heart of this reform is the focus on skills rather than subjects in order to best prepare learners for a digital, networked and agile working world. The previous B and E profiles have been replaced by a flexible structure with compulsory elective areas and specialization options. The first final examinations under the new model will take place in spring 2026.

    In response, SVIT Young Zurich has developed an attractive learning and support package that is highly appreciated by apprentices, vocational trainers and our members.

    Finally out of school and into working life! For many, an apprenticeship is the first real step towards their future. But what can you expect – and what is expected of you? We’ll give you an overview. One thing is clear: you are no longer a student, but a learner. This means that you will continue to learn a lot of new things – but not just in the classroom, but directly in everyday working life. Reliability, interest and initiative are expected of you. Punctuality, thinking for yourself and taking responsibility are the basics.

    Learning during the apprenticeship
    Preparing for practical work and the final exams involves much more than just specialist knowledge. It is also important to us to promote your mental strength and resilience. Because what if an oral exam doesn’t go as planned? How do you stay calm, focused and confident? This includes topics such as presentation techniques, dealing with exam anxiety and strategies to combat concentration difficulties. We also address modern challenges such as the constant distraction of smartphones and tablets – because they can put a strain on the nervous system and make learning more difficult. With targeted exercises, such as supportive eye training, we promote your ability to absorb information and help you to retain knowledge in the long term.

    QV-Campus 2026
    At the four-day QV-Campus at the Höhenhotel Emmetten (NW), apprentices in their 3rd year are optimally prepared for the company qualification procedure (the industry part of the final apprenticeship examination). The focus is on real estate and fiduciary theory, technical discussions, business situations, presentation techniques, presentation skills and dealing confidently with exam nerves. If desired, school subjects (except foreign languages) can also be covered in greater depth. All participants receive individual support until the final exam. And the results speak for themselves: QV-Campus participants have regularly achieved above-average grades in recent years.

    The Swiss champions 2025 at SwissSkills

    From 17 to 21 September, the BERNEXPO site was transformed into the centre of Swiss building technology. 62 participants from all parts of the country took on challenging competition tasks under realistic conditions. The young professionals competed against each other in the disciplines of heating installer, sanitary installer, plumber, ventilation system installer and in the three specialisations of building technology planning.

    Innovation and practical orientation take centre stage
    The 35th Swiss Building Services Engineering Championships once again presented practical challenges. The young professionals had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of a large audience and under time pressure on an area of almost 1900 square metres. Technical ability, creativity and teamwork were equally in focus. Skills that are becoming increasingly important in an increasingly digitalised and sustainable construction industry.

    Building technology experience inspires the public
    In addition to the competition, SwissSkills 2025 offered a broad supporting programme in Hall 19. Interactive zones such as the “Try-a-Skill” area invited visitors to experience technology for themselves and discover professions with their own hands. The careers fair stand, special Foxtrails and experience stations encouraged dialogue between young people, trainers and industry representatives. The direct dialogue and the opportunity to master challenges together make building technology a modern field of innovation.

    Significance for promoting young talent and the industry
    The successful Swiss championships impressively illustrate how attractive and future-oriented building technology is for motivated apprentices. With their skills and professional pride, the award-winning young talents look beyond the horizon and build a bridge to a sustainable and vibrant industry. For companies, educational institutions and the public, SwissSkills is an important impetus for further establishing building technology as a key area of the Swiss construction and energy transition.

    New training program for real estate professionals launched

    Real estate company Naef Holding SA has launched its in-house training program, the Naef Acedémie. As Naef reports in a LinkedIn post, the six-month program aims to train the next generation of real estate professionals. The first cohort of the program will start in autumn. Interested parties can apply now via Jobup.

    The Naef Académie combines practical work with theoretical modules under the guidance of Naef experts. The aims of the program include introducing students to key professions in the real estate industry, supporting career transitions and initial work experience, and attracting talent from various institutes. The programme includes introductions to Naef’s services such as administration, condominium development and accounting, individual mentoring and personalized coaching.

    Naef is already established in the largest French-speaking cities in Switzerland and is active in all areas of the real estate sector. With its subsidiaries, Naef also offers various services in the areas of real estate valuation, construction and architectural project management.

    Successful return of ineltec with a focus on innovation

    A new start that convinces
    The return of ineltec was a complete success. The trade fair, which took place on 11 and 12 September 2024 at Messe Zürich, attracted a large number of visitors and impressed both exhibitors and trade visitors. With a clear focus on efficiency and innovation, the trade fair presented its innovations on compact, focussed stands that encouraged direct interaction between visitors and suppliers.

    Enormous visitor interest and exciting innovations
    ineltec attracted an impressive number of visitors: the halls were already packed on the opening day. Professionals from all over Switzerland crowded around the exhibitors’ latest developments and products. Exhibition Director Noëlle Marti was overwhelmed by the response: “The enormous interest and positive feedback from our visitors exceeded all expectations. It’s a wonderful feeling when our intensive preparatory work pays off in this way.”

    Breadth and depth of the range – the right thing for everyone
    With a clearly structured trade fair layout and a wide range of exhibitors, ineltec offered something for everyone: whether it was about smart building, the circular economy, electromobility or innovative technologies – trade visitors were able to search specifically for the topics relevant to them and find what they were looking for. The clear layout, which enabled visitors to move efficiently through the various exhibition stands, was particularly appreciated.

    Expert knowledge in the Speakers Corner
    A highlight of the trade fair was the extensive lecture programme in the Speakers Corner. Here, industry experts presented their latest developments and tools, including on the topics of artificial intelligence, electrical systems and electromobility. The moderated innovation pitches, organised by Electrosuisse, tested the presented technologies for their practical suitability – a valuable source of knowledge for all participants.

    Focus on young talent
    ineltec paid particular attention to promoting young talent. A total of 16 training classes visited the trade fair and were given guided tours to gain an insight into the latest developments in the industry and potential career opportunities. The promotion of young talent was supported by EIT.swiss, which presented the winners of a competition with high-quality measuring devices – a motivational boost for the next generation of the electrical industry.

    Networking and interaction at the highest level
    In addition to the professional highlights, the trade fair also offered space for entertainment and interaction. At the second marketplace, visitors were able to take part in virtual reality simulations, skill tests and interactive demonstrations – an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and experience new technologies up close.

    A strong network and supportive partners
    EIT.swiss, the professional organisation for the electrical industry, was a strong partner of the trade fair and made a significant contribution to its success. Director Simon Hämmerli was delighted: “ineltec has once again proven that it is the perfect place to promote dialogue and networking within the industry. The large number of visitors shows that interest in technological development is unbroken.”

    Ineltec 2024 was a complete success and impressively demonstrated that the industry is lively and forward-looking. With the successful restart, the electrical industry is already looking forward to the next edition, which will take place on 9 and 10 September 2026.

    SimplyNano wins award for promoting young talent

    This year’s Building Awards for outstanding engineering achievements in construction were presented on November 2nd in Lucerne. In the category promotion of young talent in the field of technology, the jury selected the SimplyNano project as the winner, the innovation society informed in a message . The company, which was founded in 2005 as a spin-off from the University of St.Gallen , developed SimplyNano. The project is carried out by the SimplySience Foundation and supported by a number of other foundations and companies as well as the public sector.

    The award recognizes the concept, high-quality didactic content and broad support from SimplyNano, according to the announcement. “Upper school children are motivated to deal with the nanoscale – just at the moment of choosing a career,” jury member Clementine Hegner-van Rooden is quoted as saying. “On a didactic, but very concrete level, this awakens a sensitivity for an area that is so far little known at this level and hopefully creates creative specialists for our professional world.”

    SimplyNano pursues “an integrative approach in promoting young talent on three levels”, is further explained in the communication. Schools are provided with an experiment kit with 40 ready-to-teach experiments and materials. Further training courses are offered for teaching staff. They take place at partner companies and thus also make it possible to network teachers and trainees.

    The engineering offices WaltGalmarini AG and COWI A / S have prevailed as the overall winner of the Building Awards with their project Second Hinterrheinbrücke. They were also victorious in the infrastructure category. Other awards went to Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure AG and WaltGalmarini in the building construction category, to Kegel Klimasysteme in the energy and building technology category and to Alain Escher, eicher + pauli Bern AG in the young professionals category.
