Successful return of ineltec with a focus on innovation

    A new start that convinces
The return of ineltec was a complete success. The trade fair, which took place on 11 and 12 September 2024 at Messe Zürich, attracted a large number of visitors and impressed both exhibitors and trade visitors. With a clear focus on efficiency and innovation, the trade fair presented its innovations on compact, focussed stands that encouraged direct interaction between visitors and suppliers.

Enormous visitor interest and exciting innovations
ineltec attracted an impressive number of visitors: the halls were already packed on the opening day. Professionals from all over Switzerland crowded around the exhibitors’ latest developments and products. Exhibition Director Noëlle Marti was overwhelmed by the response: “The enormous interest and positive feedback from our visitors exceeded all expectations. It’s a wonderful feeling when our intensive preparatory work pays off in this way.”

Breadth and depth of the range – the right thing for everyone
With a clearly structured trade fair layout and a wide range of exhibitors, ineltec offered something for everyone: whether it was about smart building, the circular economy, electromobility or innovative technologies – trade visitors were able to search specifically for the topics relevant to them and find what they were looking for. The clear layout, which enabled visitors to move efficiently through the various exhibition stands, was particularly appreciated.

Expert knowledge in the Speakers Corner
A highlight of the trade fair was the extensive lecture programme in the Speakers Corner. Here, industry experts presented their latest developments and tools, including on the topics of artificial intelligence, electrical systems and electromobility. The moderated innovation pitches, organised by Electrosuisse, tested the presented technologies for their practical suitability – a valuable source of knowledge for all participants.

    Focus on young talent
ineltec paid particular attention to promoting young talent. A total of 16 training classes visited the trade fair and were given guided tours to gain an insight into the latest developments in the industry and potential career opportunities. The promotion of young talent was supported by EIT.swiss, which presented the winners of a competition with high-quality measuring devices – a motivational boost for the next generation of the electrical industry.

Networking and interaction at the highest level
In addition to the professional highlights, the trade fair also offered space for entertainment and interaction. At the second marketplace, visitors were able to take part in virtual reality simulations, skill tests and interactive demonstrations – an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and experience new technologies up close.

A strong network and supportive partners
EIT.swiss, the professional organisation for the electrical industry, was a strong partner of the trade fair and made a significant contribution to its success. Director Simon Hämmerli was delighted: “ineltec has once again proven that it is the perfect place to promote dialogue and networking within the industry. The large number of visitors shows that interest in technological development is unbroken.”

Ineltec 2024 was a complete success and impressively demonstrated that the industry is lively and forward-looking. With the successful restart, the electrical industry is already looking forward to the next edition, which will take place on 9 and 10 September 2026.

  • Successful 32nd trade fair for the ÖGA 2024

Successful 32nd trade fair for the ÖGA 2024

From June 26 to 28, 2024, numerous experts visited the ÖGA to discover the latest developments in horticulture and landscaping, public green spaces and vegetable and berry cultivation. The trade fair management drew a positive conclusion: the 409 exhibitors praised the high quality of the trade visitors, the visitor frequency and the excellent organization of the event. The live machine demos and the opportunity to test equipment on site were particularly appreciated. The unique park atmosphere also contributed to the success of the trade fair.

    Voices of the exhibitors
Rolf Schüpbach from Ricoter Erdaufbereitung AG emphasized: “ÖGA is the meeting place for the green industry. We appreciate the open and honest exchange and the opportunity to present our innovations. For us, it is also an opportunity to thank our customers.” Jürg Schwab from Robert Aebi Landtechnik AG added: “The fact that we can present our machines outside is what makes the ÖGA so special for us. It also gives us the opportunity to maintain good customer contacts with decision-makers and meet new customers. For us, the ÖGA is the best of all trade fairs.”

    Innovative strength and awards
The industry’s innovative strength was clearly visible at ÖGA 2024. An expert jury selected nine winners of the “Technical Innovations” innovation award from 37 technical innovations submitted – more than ever before. In addition, four new plants were honored with the “New Plants” award. The awards were presented by Christian Stucki, wrestling king and Sportsman of the Year 2019, as part of the official innovation ceremony. Over 180 invited guests from business, politics and exhibitors took the opportunity to exchange ideas and network.

    Constant visitor numbers
The exhibition management was also satisfied with the visitor numbers. A total of 20,350 entries were registered, which is comparable to the last edition in 2022 (20,600 entries). Despite a rainy spring, which delayed many horticulturalists and producers, numerous professionals decided to visit the ÖGA. The behavior of the visitors was particularly pleasing: they were interested and ready to buy. The new location of the construction machinery sector no. 10 was also rated positively by the majority. The more compact exhibition grounds led to a change in the flow of visitors without having to change sides of the road.

    Future of ÖGA
The next ÖGA will take place from June 24 to 26, 2026. As the most important trade fair for professional horticulture, public green spaces, the municipal sector and vegetable and berry cultivation, it is aimed at experts and decision-makers in the industry. The trade fair is organized by the Swiss Gardeners’ Association, the Oeschberg Cantonal Horticultural School and the Swiss Central office for vegetable growing

The successful staging of ÖGA 2024 underlines the importance of this trade fair for the green sector and raises hopes for an equally successful event in 2026.

The event was moderated by Monika Schärer, who confidently guided the guests through the afternoon. After a brief welcome, Arun Banovi, owner of immo!nvest/immoTable, and Christoph Lang, managing director of FRZ Flughafenregion Zürich, were briefly asked about the economic region and the connection with immo!nvest.

In addition, Fabian Streiff from the Zurich Business Development Agency gave the first presentation and presented the region in more detail. From this it emerged that the canton of Zurich is a globally significant hub for artificial intelligence (AI). He also introduced us to the innovation hubs in the Zurich airport region, including the Digital Health Center (Bülach), The Circle (Kloten) and the Zurich Innovation Park (Dübenorf).

As the second speaker, Hans Egloff, President of HEV Switzerland, brought us closer to the topic of digitization in the real estate industry. Using various examples, he explained the opportunities and risks of digitization. For example, the AHV number serves as a personal identifier in the electronic land register and this entails a large group of authorized users and thus a large potential for misuse.

Before the break, Tindaro Milone, Head of Large Plants, presented the EKZ and explained what is currently happening in the energy sector. For example, the scarcity of resources, climate change, politics and customer needs. He then presented the future of energy, it is mainly about decarbonization, digitization and decentralization. Of course, sustainability is also a topic that is very topical and will continue to occupy you in the future. He completed his presentation on the subject of electricity storage.

After the first part of the program there was a break that was used for the first talks. There were also cool drinks, refreshing fruits and delicious cakes.

This was followed by Dadvan Yousuf, who introduced us to his platform “Dohrnii”, where everyone can easily learn about cryptocurrencies in a playful way. The presentation also included the Dohrnii Markplace, the DHN Token and the Dohrnii DAO. Finally, he made the connection and opportunities between cryptocurrencies and the real estate industry.

Then Christoph Axmann, Chartered Surveyor MRICS at Wüest Partner, came on stage. With overviews of the population and employment development, he showed the demand in the Glattal-Furttal region. Then he showed which offer can be used to cover inquiries. Below that are investments, quantities, supply in relation to inventory and prices. Finally, he showed the development potential in the airport region.

The last speaker was René Götz from the business development department of the city of Bülach. He introduced the business location Bülach, showed the positioning, spoke about the goals and available development areas. The key sectors of the region, the space requirements of companies and the Digital Health Center Bülach were also included in the presentation.

The crowning glory was the exciting panel discussion with Doris Meier (Mayor of Bassersdorf), Christoph Lang (Managing Director of the FRZ Zurich Airport Region), Fabian Streiff (Local Promotion Canton of Zurich) and Heinz Eberhard (Eberhard companies).

During the aperitif with delicious appetizers and ice cream, there was a lot of networking. The atmosphere was very good and relaxed. Especially when the draw for the competition was due. You could win a trip to the Top of Europe – Jungfrau Joch with overnight stay and dinner for 2 people. This great prize was sponsored by eSMart, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. Monika Schärer made it exciting and presented the award to the delighted winner Markus Nussbaum.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all guests and speakers for the exciting afternoon. A big thank you also goes to the Eventalm for the great and flexible organization, the friendly service and the delicious treats. But we don’t want to forget our partners either, without you such an event would not have been possible! Thanks to EKZ, eternit, eSMART, Seitzmeir, Sunrise, SVIT Zurich, Rigips, PropTechMarket, Woonig and FRZ.

We hope to see some of you in Lausanne on October 6th and in Basel on November 24th. Until then, we wish you a nice summer!

  • A whole ship for the real estate industry

A whole ship for the real estate industry

    [smartslider3 slider = "3"]

Where does this saxophone come from? –Mr. G-Sax, one of the most renowned saxophonists in Switzerland, shortens the waiting time at the entrance control. “This is my 10th time here,” he says during a break in play. «The Immo-Boat was a hit right from the start. The whole real estate scene meets here in an almost familiar setting. You know each other, talk about the respective business situation and look forward to seeing you again. ” It is also clever that the Immo-Boat has always taken place on a Monday, which Marnie Baldessari from SVIT Zurich confirms: “We always plan the Immo-Boat on the last Monday of August. Because of Corona, it was September this year. But on Monday, unlike other days of the week, people have time. “

After previous speakers such as Thomas Borer (2011), Valentin NJ Landmann (2013), Jean-Claude Biver (2016), Bertrand Piccard (2017) or Ottmar Hitzfeld (2018), this year Mario Gyr, Olympic champion, rowing world champion and European champion in the lightweight foursome without a helmsman as well as Olympic diploma holder from London 2012, the honor. In his presentation, he chatted freshly and freely from the sewing box of a top athlete and repeatedly drew parallels to today’s working life, and not only in the real estate industry. With his thoroughly sympathetic manner, he conquered the audience in no time and thanked him by handing around his gold medal, which feels much heavier than expected in terms of weight.

Once again, the Lake Zurich tour on the MS Panta Rhei felt like a vacation: an idyllic ambience and wonderful landscapes, entertaining conversation partners and a cheerful after-work atmosphere among all guests are essential success factors. At the end of the evening there was not only fine wines and a generous aperitif, but also a cigar lounge on the sun deck. “Even people who normally don’t indulge in cigars come here to a Stump”, said one guest, almost cynically. Even the lighting glitch did not detract from the leisurely philosophizing. But on the contrary. Many a lady bobbed to the cool Mr. G-Sax beat almost like in the disco.

True to the motto “Never Change a Winning Team”, along with SVIT CEO Pascal Stutz, Marnie Baldessari and Christoph M. Steiner, SRF presenter Monika Schärer was also present for the tenth time. No question: Both the Swiss Real Estate Association (SVIT) Zurich and the hosts ImmoScout24, Quooker, Raifeisen, Siemens Hausgeräte, Sunrise UPC and immo! Nvest can be satisfied. The tenth edition of the networking event for executives from the real estate industry will also be fondly remembered by all those involved. For Marnie Baldessari, every issue of Immo-Boat is a highlight: “We have many returning guests and we even have a waiting list. But because of Corona this has become shorter than it was before. ” Ship ahoy: See you again in 2022!

Technopark Winterthur opens start-up meeting point

All conference, seminar and meeting rooms that were previously distributed in the building were moved to the ground floor, as was the coworking space called Workeria. According to a media release , new and significantly larger event spaces have been gained. This once again significantly increases the attractiveness for potential organizers. The offer for coworkers and for informal networking has now been significantly upgraded thanks to an inspiring interior design and acoustic measures. "I am convinced that the Technopark will further strengthen the business location and make it even better known beyond the region."
