Westhive is expanding on the right bank of Lake Zurich

According to a press release , Westhive AG has a new station in Zollikon on the right side of Lake Zurich. The new presence will be operated jointly with Walde Immobilien AG , which is based there, as a seventh location. With the new presence, the range of flexible rentable office space for teams and companies that want to do business in the region is growing. The provider of office solutions thus has over 1,100 workstations with a complete service infrastructure.

The new location offers office space for two or three people and can be combined to form larger units. Workplaces on the upper floors are characterized by a “spectacular view of the lake and mountains,” it says.

The area also owes its attractiveness to a “generous garden with a shady arcade” for meetings outdoors. In addition, a bistro with a terrace can be used as an addition to the ten existing meeting rooms. A parking garage and the proximity to public transport also enhance the location.

Searchers can now express their interest in the new location. Westhive promises to continue its expansion course. Additional office space is planned in Stettbach in March and in Basel and Zug in late summer.

Westhive wants to open a new shared office in Stettbach Mitte, right next to the Stettbach S-Bahn station, as announced in a message on LinkedIn. More than 120 jobs are to be offered there as early as the first quarter of 2022. There will be six meeting rooms for conferences and seminars. The infrastructure should also include a restaurant and a fitness room.

Stettbach Mitte is interesting for Westhive thanks to its “good traffic location”. The new office location will have a direct connection to public transport as well as a connection to the A1 motorway. “This results in a large catchment area that extends from the Glatttal via Zurich Oberland to Winterthur,” said a message from Stettbach Mitte about the new arrival.

Weshtive was founded in 2017 and opened its first coworking location in Zurich in 2018. The company now offers offices and workplaces with a complete service infrastructure at five locations. Further locations are being planned.

Westhive sees an increasing demand for flexible office space. The Zurich-based provider, founded in 2017, therefore plans to open new locations in Basel, Zurich-Stettbach and Zug at the beginning of 2022. Geneva is to follow a year later, Westhive writes in a statement. The location there is to be set up in the new Alto Pont-Rouge and cover an area of 4500 square meters. It will also have its own fitness center, two restaurants and an event conference center.

A total of around 1,000 jobs will be created at the four locations on 10,000 square meters. "All locations have a high proportion of private offices, for which we are seeing the greatest demand," Westhive co-founder Andreas Widmer is quoted in the press release.

Westhive continued to see strong growth in 2020. The number of tenants has risen by over 50 percent. "We are seeing continuous demand for flexible offices and workplaces, even now that the home office is mandatory," says Widmer. "But most of all we are pleased that we have lost practically no members."
