The company, which has been family-owned for 128 years, has consolidated net sales of CHF 70 million and is active in various areas: from recycling and waste management to aggregates and ready-mix concrete.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">According to a Holcim <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holcim.com\/media\/media-releases\/acquisition-candi-land-group-switzerland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>, the acquisition will open up new sources of alternative raw materials and fuels for Holcim and thus accelerate decarbonisation at the Holcim plant in Ecl&eacute;pens VD. In addition, the acquisition will enable Holcim to increase the transformation of construction waste into new construction solutions by 100,000 tonnes per year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Following a long-standing partnership between the two companies, Holcim intends to offer its customers an even more comprehensive range of construction, logistics and recycling services through this acquisition.
