To this end, BEKB is supporting energy-efficient refurbishments with the introduction of myky mortgages, BEKB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bekb.ch\/de\/die-bekb\/publikationen\/medienmitteilungen\/2025\/20250303-myky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bekb.ch\/de\/die-bekb\/publikationen\/medienmitteilungen\/2025\/20250303-myky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>. They are based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myky.ch\/de\/sanierungsplaner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Renovation&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Massnahmen zur Behebung von M&auml;ngeln, die durch Abnutzung oder Witterungseinfl&uuml;sse entstanden sind; Wiederherstellung des urspr&uuml;nglichen Zustands eines Geb&auml;udes oder von Teilen davon&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">renovation<\/span> calculator<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myky.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myky<\/a> online platform.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">&ldquo;Our customers benefit from preferential conditions when renovating their homes in an environmentally friendly way&rdquo;, BEKB CEO Armin Brun is quoted as saying in the press release. &ldquo;At the same time, we as a bank are promoting the reduction of CO2 emissions in our market area.&rdquo; By 2030, emissions from financed residential properties are to be reduced by 45 per cent and those from other properties by 35 per cent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The myky platform was launched at the end of 2021 by BEKB together with Energie Wasser Bern and Geb&auml;udeversicherung Bern. The start-up specialises in practical tips and tools to support homeowners.
