It has elected Rolf Schaeren as its new Chairman. Schaeren will take up his post on 1 May. Schaeren was Chief Financial Officer of the City of Dietikon from 2006 to 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">He is a professor of accounting and financial management at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhnw.ch\/de\/die-fhnw\/hochschulen\/hsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Applied Sciences<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhnw.ch\/de\/die-fhnw\/hochschulen\/hsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arts<\/a> Northwestern Switzerland. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Elektrizit&auml;tswerke des Kantons Z&uuml;rich (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekz.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EKZ<\/a>) since 2014 and has chaired it since 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Schaeren succeeds Stefano Kunz. The Schlieren building committee member served on the board of directors for twelve years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">&ldquo;Limeco plays a central role in the region&rsquo;s energy and waste disposal supply,&rdquo; Schaeren is quoted as saying in the announcement. &ldquo;I am very much looking forward to continuing Limeco&rsquo;s successful development together with my colleagues on the Board of Directors and tackling future challenges in the interests of the supporting municipalities.&rdquo;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rolf Sch\u00e4ren will chair Limeco&#8217;s Board of Directors from 1 May.
