As reported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfs.admin.ch\/bfs\/de\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Statistical Office<\/a> , the Swiss residential property index rose by 2.2 percent in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter. At the end of June it stood at 105.3 points. The value of 100 was reached in the fourth quarter of 2019. Compared to the second quarter of the previous year, <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Inflation&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Anstieg des Preises von G&uuml;tern und Dienstleistungen, der gleichzeitig einen Schwund der Kaufkraft verursacht&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">inflation<\/span> was 4.7 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> In all types of municipalities nationwide, prices for both single-family houses and condominiums rose compared to the previous quarter, with single-family homes by 2.6 percent and condominiums by 1.8 percent. The increase in single-family houses with an increase of 4.6 percent was particularly pronounced in rural communities.
