According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwb.ch\/Ueber-uns\/Newsroom\/Medienmitteilungen\/IWB-beteiligt-sich-an-W-rmeverbund-in-Schwyz.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">its own information,<\/a> it joins the heating network of Agro Energie Schwyz AG ( <a href=\"https:\/\/agroenergie-schwyz.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AES<\/a> ). Since 2006, it has built a modern network of over 100 kilometers in the Schwyz valley basin with state-of-the-art production facilities. A <a href=\"https:\/\/agroenergie-schwyz.ch\/energiezentrum\/holzschnitzelfeuerung\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wood-fired thermal power station<\/a> , an <a href=\"https:\/\/agroenergie-schwyz.ch\/energiezentrum\/orc-anlage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ORC system<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/agroenergie-schwyz.ch\/energiezentrum\/biogasanlage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">biogas system<\/a> supply around 1,500 customers. The aim of AES is to build and operate a regional, independent and CO2-neutral energy supply in the region. The operator also attaches great importance to local <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Added Value&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Materieller oder immaterieller Mehrwert, der einer Leistung oder einem Produkt hinzugef&uuml;gt wird&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">added value<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> IWB takes over shares from the largest shareholder, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.profond.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Profond<\/a> pension fund. Profond was looking for an investor with proven expertise in heat supply and a credible ecological focus.
