According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietikon.ch\/dietikonheuteundmorgen\/heute\/aktuelles\/pressemitteilungen\/1101497\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media release from<\/a> the City of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietikon.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dietikon, it was designed<\/a> by the <a href=\"https:\/\/schmid-zioerjen.ch\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Schmid Zi&ouml;rjen<\/a> Architects in Zurich. The <a href=\"https:\/\/bestarchitects.de\/de\/2021\/all\/all\/all\/all\/64-SCHMID-ZIOERJEN-ARCHITEKTENKOLLEKTIV-Doppelkindergarten-Steinmuerli.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">jury's description<\/a> of the award-winning building states that the Steinm&uuml;rli school complex is a <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Cluster&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Marketingbegriff f&uuml;r eine Nutzergruppe mit &auml;hnlichen Anforderungen an eine Immobilie. In der Standortf&ouml;rderung spricht man von Cluster, wenn Unternehmen aus der gleichen Branche vernetzt werden&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">cluster<\/span> of orthogonally arranged school and gym buildings. The new kindergarten, placed at right angles to the existing buildings, would naturally be integrated into the overall complex. This would reorganize the open spaces and create a well-sunlit and spacious outdoor play area between the existing kindergarten and the new building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> The jury that awarded the award consists of the architects Professor Johannes Modersohn from Berlin, Yves Moreau from Paris and Patrick Schmid from Zurich.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> The best architects award was launched in 2006 in order, according to information on its website, to filter out the best and most interesting of the German-speaking architecture scene and to show it to the public.
