The merger of the respective independent platforms is to create a company of its own, in which, however, only four shareholders will participate &ndash; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionalwerke.ch\/privat-geschaeftskunden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regionalwerke<\/a> Baden, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stwz.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">StWZ<\/a> Energie AG, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swl.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SWL<\/a> Energie AG and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tbsuhr.ch\/xml_1\/internet\/de\/intro.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TBS<\/a> Strom AG. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eniwa.ch\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eniwa<\/a> is leaving and, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionalwerke.ch\/fileadmin\/seiteninhalt\/Dokumente\/Medien\/Mitteilungen\/20200909_Medienmitteilung_gPR_NG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press release<\/a> , decided for strategic reasons to continue its existing platform for geographic information services in the medium term and to sell its stake in geoProRegio AG.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> In the new structure, not only the technical systems, but also the customer portfolios as well as the 30 or so employees from the GIS departments of the four partners will be transferred to the company. The seat of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoproregio.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">geoProRegio<\/a> AG remains in Baden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> The managing director of the geographic information service provider is C&eacute;dric Aubert. The physicist has many years of experience in data management, research, the energy industry and the financial sector. He is fascinated by the challenge of &ldquo;getting more out of geospatial data&rdquo;. &ldquo;The market potential in the field of geographic information services is great.
