According to a press <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holcim.com\/media\/media-releases\/holcim-expands-ready-mix-footprint-us#:~:text=Holcim%20acquired%20Cajun%20Ready%20Mix,employees%20and%2051%20mixer%20trucks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release<\/a> , Holcim intends to expand its ready-mixed concrete division by taking over the associated eight plants for ready-mixed concrete, 108 employees and 51 mixing vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> Accordingly, the manufacturer of ready-mixed concrete is the largest company in its sector in the greater Baton Rouge area. &ldquo;With this acquisition, we are expanding our presence in the dynamic Baton Rouge market and reaffirming our focus on growth in North America,&rdquo; Toufic Tabbara, head of Holcim&rsquo;s North America region, said in the press release. Cajun&rsquo;s industry connections and technical skills make him an ideal fit for Holcim&rsquo;s business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"> Holcim does not disclose anything about the purchase price in its press release.
