According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hug-baustoffe.ch\/web\/uploads\/images\/aktuelles\/Medienmitteilung-2022-03-30-Stauffacher.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media release<\/a>, the acquisition represents a logical step for the building materials trader in its expansion around Lake Zurich. &ldquo;Through the acquisition, we are expanding our local presence with the well-known showroom and personal advice,&rdquo; Managing Director Dominik Rieder is quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The full-range retailer stocks 500,000 articles for private as well as public-commercial new construction and <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Renovation&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Massnahmen zur Behebung von M&auml;ngeln, die durch Abnutzung oder Witterungseinfl&uuml;sse entstanden sind; Wiederherstellung des urspr&uuml;nglichen Zustands eines Geb&auml;udes oder von Teilen davon&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">renovation<\/span> projects. In addition to the building materials range, machines and tools are sold and rented out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Hug takes over all employees of Stauffacher Bel&auml;ge GmbH. The wholesaler has made a name for itself with its selection of high-quality ceramic wall and floor tiles, facades and parquet.
