This will create 250 new jobs. Construction will take place in two stages, in 2023 and 2028.
The main change is in production. Until now, INTEGRA produced pipette tips and consumables only in the USA. CEO Hartmann explains, “We’re switching to 24-hour operation and focusing on automation.” A high-bay warehouse is used for storage and delivery. The campus will not only be efficient, but also innovative. A “creative village” with offices, coworking zones, test lab and restaurant will be created.
Fanzun AG is in charge of the general planning. A photovoltaic system and heat pump ensure environmentally friendly operation. Charging stations for electric cars are part of the sustainability concept.
