La géothermie profonde pourrait potentiellement fournir entre 200 et 1800 gigawattheures de chaleur utilisable par an dans le canton de Bâle-Campagne<\/a>. Cela représente entre 10 et 100 pour cent des besoins énergétiques futurs pour le chauffage des locaux et l’eau chaude. C’est la conclusion de l’étude Rapport sur le potentiel de la géothermie profonde dans le canton de Bâle-Campagne<\/a>. Elle a été commandée par l’Office de la protection de l’environnement et de l’énergie<\/a> et fait suite au postulat 2022\/346<\/a> de Rolf Blatter.<\/p>\n

Selon un communiqué de presse<\/a> du canton, le potentiel réel dépend de différentes conditions techniques et économiques et ne peut donc être chiffré plus précisément qu’avec une exploration plus poussée. Comme Bâle-Campagne fait partie des cantons les plus diversifiés sur le plan géologique, le nombre de situations qui se prêtent à une exploitation géothermique est d’autant plus grand.<\/p>\n

Aucune estimation du potentiel de la géothermie profonde dans le canton n’était disponible jusqu’à présent. Selon les données, la géothermie proche de la surface avec des sondes géothermiques, très répandue, contribue à environ 100 gigawattheures de la chaleur environnementale utilisée. Avec la nouvelle loi sur le CO2, la Confédération va promouvoir la géothermie hydrothermale pour le chauffage à partir du 1er janvier 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
