Les travaux de construction d’un réseau de chaleur peuvent démarrer autour de Lehenmattstrasse à partir de juillet. Selon un communiqué de presse<\/a> , le réseau de chaleur Lehenmatt Birs AG (WVLB AG), qui a été fondé spécifiquement à cet effet, a maintenant reçu l’autorisation du conseil du gouvernement du canton de Bâle-Ville.<\/p>\n

Dans la première étape d’expansion, le client pose 1,2 km de nouveaux caloducs. Jusqu’à 2 900 foyers peuvent y être connectés, la première étant prévue à partir du printemps 2022. La chaleur fournie par WVLB AG devrait être jusqu’à 80% neutre en CO2. Selon un communiqué de presse, il s’agit d’un sous-produit des procédés de traitement de la station d’épuration des eaux usées de Birs, située à proximité.<\/a><\/p>\n

Les premiers propriétaires ont déjà manifesté leur intérêt. « Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons déjà pu conclure de nombreux contrats de fourniture de chaleur avec de gros consommateurs de chaleur dans le quartier<\/span> de Lehenmatt », a déclaré le directeur général du WVLB, Urs Hodel, dans le communiqué de presse.
