La plupart des bâtiments du Centre national des sports de Maglingen sont actuellement chauffés au gaz, selon un communiqué de presse de<\/a> l'Office fédéral des bâtiments et de la logistique (BBL). Le BBL réalise actuellement un certain nombre de nouveaux projets de construction et de rénovation pour l'Office fédéral du sport au centre sportif. Pour la première fois, le gouvernement fédéral utilise l'énergie géothermique pour fournir de la chaleur aux bâtiments. Un nouveau réseau de chauffage urbain alimentera à la fois les bâtiments existants et les nouveaux bâtiments.<\/p>\n

L'énergie géothermique d'une profondeur de 1 300 mètres est utilisée pour l'approvisionnement en chaleur. On s'attend à ce que l'eau extraite ait une température de 30 à 50 degrés Celsius. A cet effet, deux puits de forage sont en cours de construction. L'eau chaude est pompée par l'un, l'eau refroidie est déversée par l'autre. Entre les deux, un échangeur de chaleur en surface prend la chaleur de l'eau et l'utilise pour alimenter le bâtiment.<\/p>\n
