Evaluation du jury : Avec l'intervention actuelle, troisième étape d'une requalification plus large de la Commune, l'espace public du centre historique a été relancé, inversant la hiérarchie entre la voiture et le piéton. Les voitures n'ont pas été complètement éliminées du noyau de l'allée immobile, mais le piéton a été prioritaire. Avec le nouveau revêtement de sol, il devient clair que tout l'espace entre les bâtiments est public. Dans le sol en granit, des carrés de différents matériaux ont été insérés qui ressemblent à des tapis colorés et mettent en évidence la centralité et la convivialité de certains lieux, conférant à l'ensemble un caractère plus domestique.<\/p>

Le projet a été apprécié car – grâce à ces interventions – la qualité de vie dans le noyau, son habitabilité et sa valeur sociale et agrégative ont été améliorées. Les piétons sont revenus habiter les rues et les places et les enfants jouent sur des tapis colorés, les adultes discutent, les passants s'arrêtent.<\/p>
