L’aéroport de Zurich<\/a> commence à s’équiper d’un nouveau système de tri des bagages, comme l’indique un communiqué<\/a>. Celle-ci est en grande partie souterraine et couvre une distance de transport d’environ 25 kilomètres. Elle est entraînée par 5500 moteurs et présente, selon les indications, une meilleure efficacité énergétique que l’installation actuelle. Elle est en outre surveillée par 5600 capteurs et répond aux nouvelles prescriptions de l’UE en matière de contrôle de sécurité.<\/p>\n

Selon le communiqué, cette installation est actuellement le plus grand projet de construction à l’aéroport de Zurich. Son coût s’élève à environ 400 millions de francs suisses. L’aéroport de Zurich estime qu’elle sera en service pendant 20 à 25 ans.<\/p>\n

La transition vers la nouvelle installation se fera progressivement à partir du 6 novembre. D’ici à la fin janvier 2024, le tri des bagages devrait avoir été modifié de manière à ce que tous les bagages enregistrés puissent être contrôlés conformément aux nouvelles règles de l’UE.
